Alohaaaa! I am Ana McIntosh, born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and currently living in paradise - Oahu, Hawai'i. And let me tell you a little more about my journey.
My family is part of a Spiritual Community that offers - until nowadays - energy work, spiritual and shamanic practices in Rio de Janeiro and that was the environment I grew up in. All types of mediumship were also provided to the community 3 times a week. Lots of prayers, singing, drumming, unconditional LOVE to our people and their families.
I got Reiki 1 and 2 certified in 2001 when I was only 11 years old and going through my awakening process to this World. Reiki helped me seeing and feeling the light where there was only darkness. It was a HUGE step into my personal power and understanding of how life is on this dimension, on this Planet.
After finishing up my Bachelor in Business Administration and my Master in Logistics - for my Matrix jobs and to support my spiritual path - I decided to go see the World and learn from my own experiences.
First country I visited was Indonesia and right away felt in love with those people. I got very curious about their daily meditation/yoga practices and offerings they put for their ancestors to remind themselves how everything it's in the circle of life, the energy and the memories we create are never lost. That's when I got deeper into my Yoga practices and started to understand a little better the 8 limbs of Yoga.
After 40 days traveling in Indonesia I continued my journey to Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and ended up in Hawai'i where I met my husband - father of our beautiful daughter - practiced new styles of Yoga, experienced different cultures, learnt other languages, religions, traditions, practices and rituals.
In 2016, I got my 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training and KAY (Kidding Around Yoga) Certification to be able to work with children from 3-12 years old, besides other trainings such as Yin Yoga and Chair Yoga to also be able to offer classes to people with disabilities, special needs and elders.
In 2019, moved to Texas, and started teaching right away. I felt it naturally happening, my beautiful Yoga Journey as a teacher was only beginning ! ! !
I got my second 200 hours Yoga Teacher Training in April 2020 and my 300 hour YTT in June 2020;
I also accomplished my Thetahealing Therapist Certification in October 2020 and Bhakti Yoga - Chanting: Yoga for the Heart certification with Janet Stone in December 2020.
I continue to take Sound Healing Classes, diving deeper into sacred plants/fruits ceremonies, shamanic practices and different self awareness modalities and healing therapies.
Our healing journey starts from inside of us! NAKINE means HOPE in Hawaiian, and as long as I am Ana McIntosh, I will learn from the challenges in order to find harmony and growth, because a good teacher, will be a forever student.
I believe in sharing the light and love with all people. I want to be part of the transformation. I believe we can do this together!
Obrigada,
Aho,
Namaste.
Some L O V E from those who crossed my path...

“ Hi Ana! I really enjoyed your class last night. It was noticeable that you are very experienced in the yoga practice, and that you genuinely care about your students experience. Which your text proves even more.
From the moment you walked in the door I felt welcomed. At the beginning of class you did a good job briefly explaining what to expect and how Hatha yoga differs from other types of yoga.
You did a good job of vocally setting up the posses and also giving different variations in the poses.
The vibe in the class was great and loved the cool breeze in the dark. Was definitely a class I needed at the time and left feeling way better than when I came. And to top it all off I loved the positive affirmations in savanna.
I definitely want to take more of your classes and will. However it is hard for me to stick with a set schedule so I’m not sure exactly when I will be able to make the next one. But hope to soon.
Thanks for reaching out hope too see you again soon! “
